Was diagnosed with cervical cancer at the RAH hospital in Paisley, then transferred to the care of the Beatson hospital in Glasgow.
From the start of my journey until now, the care and treatment I received was excellent. As you can imagine, being told you have cancer is completely terrifying and overwhelming. Had it not been for the excellent work that all of the nursing staff provided me with, I do not think I would have tackled this diagnosis with such a positive attitude, they just seemed to get how I was feeling.
My clinical nurse at the RAH in Paisley was absolutely and still is brilliant at reassuring me, her name is Gillian, and the same should be said about my consultant at the Beatson Hospital, her name is Dr Kerr.
I cannot thank everyone enough with regards to the care and treatment I received. The staff are indeed angels and I will be forever grateful and thankful to them for all that they have done for me 😘
