About: Sexual Health Services - South Staffordshire (Open Clinic)

(as a service user),

I work 5-5 Monday to Friday including some Saturday mornings. Called at 10:30 on a Monday morning, asked to book an appointment for a full screen. Told to call back at 8:30 the next day when the appointments are released as no more telephone consultations are available today. I said I couldn’t do it today anyway and asked if I could please book in advance as I don’t need a consultation just need the tests, this is so I can let work know when I will need the time. Was told sorry, that’s the way it is, call back tomorrow at 8:30 and yes you need a phone call first.

I don't understand what is the point in me having to call you, for you to call me back, only to be told to come in and have an appointment made for tests anyway? Such a colossal waste of time. I was asked if I can not get a family member to call for me…I’m sorry what?! Absolute joke.

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience of the service. I am very sorry that you were not able to get an appointment booked in a timely way. We aim to offer either 'No Talk Testing appointment clinic, walk in clinics, prebooked appointments and online postal kits.
