"Kindness, dignity and care"

About: St John's Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

I observed an urgent admission of a vulnerable elderly adult, who was admitted for tests and who was struggling to care for themselves.

The nursing team were kind compassionate and patient, they supported the patient to have a shower.

The kindness and compassion shown to the person was uplifting to witness and personified nursing and people skills
