About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

I was a patient recently at the day surgery unit located at The New Victoria Hospital Glasgow.

I was looked after by Eva and Megan. They made me comfortable, put me at ease and their care and attention made my experience so much better. 

Everything about it, from checking in with a very pleasant receptionist, my experience in the ward, the lovely nurse who took me to theatre and the doctor and theatre staff who performed the procedure.

Everyone's kindness and care made what was a worrying day so much easier.

I am so glad that your patient journey with us was a positive one. Coming to hospital as a patient can be a daunting and worrying time however, I am delighted to read that the team’s kindness made you feel comfortable and at ease. I will ensure your generous feedback is shared with the entire Day Surgery team, but especially with the staff you mentioned individually, Eva and Megan, both are excellent nurses and a credit to our team.
