"My son needed a hospital stay"

About: Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (Edinburgh)

(as a parent/guardian),

My two week old son needed to be admitted into the hospital due to breathing problems and possible infection. 

I felt absolutely powerless and scared but also hopeful that the doctors and nurses would provide the best care.

I'm so sorry to hear that your 2 week old baby had to be admitted to hospital. This must have been a very distressing time for you. I'm glad you had hope in the doctors and nurses to help.

I hope your son is recovering well after receiving care and treatment at the hospital.
