"GP swapped without being informed"

I accidentally found out in December that I was no longer with my 13 years' GP and was swapped to another GP. This is because my GP reduced her working hours.

First, not informing patients of that decision and its rationale shows no care for patients as individuals. Second, not providing any information prior that decision being made demonstrates poor process handling by the practice manager. Finally, the lack of transparency regarding how the practice decided which patients were to stay with that GP and which ones were to be moved to another GP highlights an opaque way of functioning with powerless patients as recipients.

This has been poorly handled.
