"Excellent care, rocket ice lollys and smiles"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

My little boy was out of sorts following a head injury and needed a trip to A&E to be checked over. The whole team, Karen in triage and Jane the ENP were wonderful.

The department was busy but they were calm, collected and friendly and made sure my little one was thoroughly assessed and well looked after. Jade's approach to working with small children was wonderful, she made the assessment fun and stress free meaning my little boy was able to fully engage in her assessment.

With the benefit of a magic rocket lolly, fun and games from Jade and lots of smiles we got home quickly with worsening advice. Thanks so much, services might be under pressure across our health and social care systems but you wouldn't know it from the level of professionalism we received from the team in A&E.
