"Aiding in my recovery process"

About: Telford STaRS

(as a service user),

It's been amazing experience and long road. Sam my key worker has been an amazing in aiding my recovery process. Her expertise is second to none. She was always there in times of need and despair and was only a call away. She will always listen and be there for you through thick and thin. She's been a godsend. I have now been clean for over 7 months after a 15 year addiction to crack cocaine and heroin. I am trying to come down my last bit of meth which is a bit difficult but will get there slowly but surely.  Its a marathon not a sprint. I would love to do voluntary as inspiration for people in addiction to quit. I am a big advocate in giving back.

My advice is don't suffer in silence there is always help on hand. Slow and steady wins the race. Rome wasn't built in a day. Its a process. There is no judgement if you fail but keep your spirit strong. Stay blessed.
