About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / Day Hospital

(as a service user),

I recently had day surgery at Vale of Leven Hospital, Alexandria.

I received excellent care myself from Sarah and Nurse Kilday (sorry cannot remember all names!),the anaesthetist, and the Consultant Mr Yehiyan, who did a very neat job with my procedure, and for keeping me informed.

As I waited for my procedure, I was so impressed with how lovely the staff were treating all the elderly patients awaiting cataract operations, they showed such care and kindness to them all.

I also enjoyed the best tea and toast after not eating all day.

Many thanks. The NHS is alive and well in this ward.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your feedback in regards to your experience of attending the Day Hospital of the Vale of Leven General Hospital.

It was great to hear the care and treatment you received from the staff was to a high standard and you felt well cared for throughout your stay.

I was also pleased to hear how the staff took the time to make you feel welcome and explained the process throughout answering any questions you may have had.

I have passed on your thanks to the team who have asked me to thank you for your kind words. It really means a lot to the staff.
