I have had 2 eye cysts on both eyelids for a few months and my recent visit was to remove them at Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.
I wasn’t too fond of the idea of having 2 anaesthetic injections into both of my eyelids, all I could feel was a small sting at the start and end as it was very quick so the overall experience was not bad at all just slightly uncomfortable.
Both of the nurses were lovely! Patient, kind, funny and super helpful, they were very encouraging and keen on keeping a positive atmosphere. I would highly recommend them!
I was sent away with leaflets of information and support along with guides of how to massage and general tips to prevent in the future. I’m very thankful for their help! I could not give or find reason for any bad feedback! Extremely pleased of how my visit went and grateful for them both!
The only matter I would say could have been better is one that is a large factor over the whole of the UK, the very long timescales for the waiting lists you need wait for to get the appointment for treatment. No further negatives, great service :)
