"Cardiology care"

My father in law recently had an NSTEMI and was treated in the GJNH, he was taken for an angiogram in the cardiac day unit. The care he received was fantastic. Communication was excellent and everyone we met were so kind and compassionate. We were fully informed at all times. The nurse looking after him, Nochi (sorry for spelling) was excellent. She had a lovely pleasant bedside manner and was providing regular updates and checks. The male HCSW (sorry didn’t catch name) who told us he had only just started was also a credit to the team. He provided care in such an upbeat and friendly manner. Finally, Dr Robertson who performed the procedure was excellent, he reassured us and was very informative about the procedure. He put my father in law at ease and provided great person centred care. A massive thank you to everyone in CDU, what a fantastic unit with kind, caring and approachable staff.
