About: St John's Hospital / Oral Maxillofacial surgery

(as a service user),

I recently had a troublesome molar extracted by the maxillofacial team at St John’s Hospital under sedation. I was nervous the procedure. However from the moment I arrived in the department the team put me at ease and made sure I had all the information I needed. They displayed compassion and professionalism throughout, making the whole experience much easier. Everyone from the waiting list co-ordinator to the nurses and doctors in the team are a credit to NHS Lothian! Thank you.
