"They shed much light on the darkest days of our lives"

About: Cameron Hospital / Recovery & rehabilitation

(as a relative),

My husband took ill in October 2023 and was taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. After a few weeks of investigation, he was transferred to the Cameron Hospital for recuperation. Further complications arose and he was transferred backwards and forwards then eventually back to the Cameron. Sadly, the Cameron was also where he passed away

My family and I cannot thank the staff at the Cameron enough for their care and devotion to not only my husband, but also to our family at such a difficult time. We were allocated a side room and could spend all of those last days and nights with my husband.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure that this time was full of compassion and caring, on a level way beyond our expectations. We have nothing but admiration and total respect for all of the staff who were involved in caring for my husband and looking after our family. They shed much light on the darkest days of our lives and for that, we are eternally grateful.

Update posted by Caroline927 (a relative)

Thank you Lynnette. In my haste to post feedback for the Cameron hospital, I omitted to mention that my husband was in Balgonie ward. We are forever grateful for everything they did for our family.
