"Having a wisdom tooth extraction"

About: Perth and Kinross Health & Social Care Partnership / Public Dental Service (Tayside)

(as the patient),

Following the covid pandemic, I was unable to visit my dentist due to working full time, and as a result I lost my NHS place with my dentist.

Due to an emergency appointment with my wife we were able to get on a waiting list for a local dentist in Crieff and eventually we were both lucky enough to qualify for dental treatment locally.

I can't tell you how amazing it felt to get fillings  and crowns  sorted once more and I feel very grateful to the staff and dentist in Crieff.

Following  my treatment I broke an old filling which led to some pain and I was referred to The Broxden NHS clinic and needed to get my wisdom tooth taken out.

I really want to thank Alison, the dentist and Denise, the dental nurse.

They both chatted away and told me exactly what was happening and encouraged me to relax and took my mind off the procedure.

Their care was very professional and I felt I was in very capable hands  throughout.

Their advice and helpful suggestions on aftercare were also very welcome.

I am so pleased with the results and my mouth is healing very nicely and my pain was pretty minimal.

Once again, Thank you so much for your care.

Dear golfbb36

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your dental care. Feedback is very valuable to all areas of the NHS, and I'm sure the staff at your dental practice in Crieff will be delighted to hear that your family's experience there has been positive.

Unfortunately, dental practices are not part of Care Opinion at this time, as each practice is an independent business. So that they can see your feedback, we would recommend that you feedback your experience directly to the practice to allow this to be passed on to the staff. The Practice Manager can give you with details of how to provide this feedback to them, as per their Complaints and Feedback Policy.

With best wishes

Victoria Sullivan

Thank you so much for taking the time to let our dental teams know your experience was such a positive one. I will let the team at Broxden know and we really appreciate you taking the time to do this. Many thanks. Heather Ballantyne.
