"The nurses were just amazing"

I attending the walk-in on a Sunday morning as had been running a very high fever since the Thursday and my Tonsils were sore/swollen.

The nurses were just amazing. I was seem very promptly and greeted with a warm, friendly face. The nurse listened to me and gave a huge amount of empathy which is often what people need more of when poorly. I'm a full time, working mum and I just needed to get better.

They did their assessment and were able to provide the appropriate treatment very efficiently. I was seen, assessed, treated and home in an hour. Moments like this is why I'm so grateful to the NHS. Thank you to the nurses on shift x
