"Spoke over everything I was saying"

Shocking terrible advice & sign post regarding concerns for someone who is a known MH patient. Refused to see them, just sign posted to police. Police Scotland attended and advised this is purely a mental health matter and so the crisis team should attend and assess.

Crisis team called back & spoke over everything I was saying, I am also registered nurse. Cut me short. Answered my queries in a non-interested manner… told me to send him to the GP on the following Monday, made dismissive comments about him being an addict. When I asked for the nurse's details so that I could take this further, they refused and I when informed that I was a registered healthcare professional and was aware that they were legally obliged to give these detail, they only gave a first name. When I asked for a surname, they hung up the phone.

This is beyond disappointing. This service is an absolute joke, to try and assess a patient with psychosis over the phone alone is completely inappropriate.
