"Blood being taken"

About: Blairgowrie Community Hospital / Community Care & Treatment (Minor Injuries)

(as the patient),

I attended at the Community hospital in Blairgowrie for an appointment, where I was due to have blood taken, to be tested as part of an ongoing medical issue.

I have in recent years, really disliked this procedure; it has happened often and each time it has been extremely difficult to obtain a vain. When they do, it is more often than not, quite painful during the procedure.

However, on this occasion, the nurse in question was friendly and talkative. She eventually found a vein and the needles insertion and procedure was not painful, was very gentle. One of the best blood extractions that I have experienced.

Well done.
