"Disapppointed"

I am very sad and disappointed with the service I received from one of the nurses. I have gone for my visit yesterday with some concerns am having regarding my medication. One of the concerns noticing my eyes being blurry after taking the medication. This has been going on for a while and only noted that this happens after taking the medication. I was very excited and as I would be when attending my consultation because I would know that when leaving the clinic would be fully hearted. We get to be diagnosed with diseases which don’t make us happy, gets us to be depressed going to the clinic is also seeking some attention. You get to have a relationship with your doctors and maybe nurses which they also tend to be counsellors which also on that point information on medication is something that can be provided to the patient.

As I was scheduled I saw that the nurse was in a hurry “as there were other patients to be assisted” so I could not ask or even say what my concerns were? As I noticed that she is rushing to get finished I asked if she will give me the contraceptive also, question was what is on my card? I am responding to say the date is on my card to collect medication and in my “assumption” is that I will be getting contraceptives also? She was kind surprised that it seems like I don’t know what am there for? While also in the conversation I mentioned that am disappointed that the doc is not there as there were this and that….Her response was excuse me I am also a sister”. My question is also if so, why can she not provide me with the answers I need? Mind you in between the conversation she has comments that she does not know anything she is just a messenger as she had messaged my doctor and doctor asked to stand in for her to provide me with the medication.

I left the clinic very empty hearted in my over five years of consulting there and thought I would leave this as is, but now again it’s difficult for me to look up in the computer as I feel blurriness. What if am turning blind for medication that could have been either changed on the consultation, instead of waiting for my next consultation? On the comments she mentioned that the nurses/doctors is not their job to tell me when going on leave as I have stated that am disappointed for the provided date that there was not going to be a doctor..
