"Wonderful care for husband with Dementia"

About: Queen's Hospital / Gastroenterology Queen's Hospital / Older people's healthcare

(as a service user),

My husband had a routine Colonoscopy this after and our experience was so positive. We were met at reception by two lovely dementia nurses who stayed with us for as long as we needed them , really kept both of us calm and well informed.

I was allowed to stay in the ward so i would be there whem my husband returned from the procedure. All the staff on the colonoscopy were empathetic and treated us with kindness and respect.

Thank you once again to everyone , much appreciated

Thank you so much for your kind words.  It is wonderful to hear you have had such a positive experience, received such great care before.  I will ensure that your feedback is passed onto the team so that they know what a fantastic job they are doing, we do try and put our patients first in everything we do.  Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and as this is very important to us.

Kind Regards
