I am a 76 year old woman who has just had a total knee replacement at Barlborough Hospital. I was extremely anxious about the whole procedure, not least of all the spinal anaesthetic. This hospital, from surgeon, anaesthetist, doctors, nurses and all the staff was exemplary, I could not fault it in any area. I was greeted with smiles, treated with dignity and respect. The anaesthetist was so friendly and kind that there was no needle pain or even any awareness that I had actually had the spinal injection. My legs were numb and I drifted into happy oblivion.
My stay-over was as comfortable as the nurses could possibly make it. Thank you so much for taking such great care of me.
"Excellent Team, amazing practice"
