"Waiting time for appointment"

About: Intellectual Developmental Disabilities /Learning Disability Services - Community / Neurodevelopmental Specialist Service

(as a service user),

I find it ridiculous bringing my son to an appointment for autism check up, still sat in waiting room 55mins after appointment time you would think they know that brings more stress with waiting that long, nothing to do for children in waiting room,

Hi Gem85,

Firstly let me thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, this allows us the opportunity to adapt and change things to improve the experience of all our patients. Secondly please also accept my apologies for your experience, I can imagine how challenging this would have been.

I am replying to this message as part of my role here at Notts Healthcare is to review feedback that is received and to ensure it is viewed by the team which it is about to allow them to make any appropriate changes.

In order to help me do this, I would be really grateful if you would be able to reply to this message and let me know which of our venues you were at and if the appointment was for yourself or your child.

Thank you again for helping us to continually improve the service we offer,

Kind regards,

Amy.
