I was sent to A&E by my doctor, and I thought he would have let them know, but he hadn’t. (I suppose that’s too much to ask!)
I was seen quite quickly and all staff was very friendly especially the lady doctor I can only remember her 1st name Kaitlin. The only downside was being sat waiting for a bed 5 hours, then to find I was put in a bay on Robinson ward which had 5 empty beds, so the mind boggles.
I was sent for a MRI scan the next morning. All done early and quickly. Very impressed until the orthopaedic doctor came to see me. I can’t say who he was because he didn’t introduce himself and he didn’t wear a name badge, he didn’t even say hello. Shame really when we or most people show respect,.
Nursing staff and assistants on the ward were very kind and helpful.
