"Observation of feeds and nappies"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My 13 week old was taken in for observation of feeds and nappies to determine why not putting weight on. At start of week everyone was on the same page and reporting everything, however at end of week, things were getting missed. Some support staff telling me that baby had been sick and then the designated nurse telling me she hadn't, as it wasn't told to her. Don't feel as though it was very effective.

Dear hoteljs53

Thank you for your feedback. I value you taking the time to share this with us. I will pass on your message to the paediatric team so that they can amend how they deliver this part of their care.

Best wishes

Attica
