"Miscarriage care"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as a service user),

I found out my pregnancy had ended on Rubislaw Ward recently. The care and compassion I received especially from Karen and Ellie while I passed the remains made the worst day slightly more bearable. I felt very well looked after and supported. They were so patient with me and treated me with respect and dignity. They explained everything that was going to happen and made me feel empowered and confident in my decision. I imagine its such a difficult ward to work due to area of expertise but these ladies were truly built for it.

Hello Rcmmb1990, thank you for taking the time to give staff in Rubislaw this lovely feedback, I have passed this on to both Karen and Ellie. I am so sorry to hear about your loss, but thank you again for letting Rubislaw staff know how your experience was at this difficult time. Take care
