"Totally outstanding care and professionalism"

I’ve just returned home after a colonoscopy at the Hartlepool unit.

Obviously I was concerned but I was reassured totally by the nurse who explained the procedure. From then on every member of staff was superb.

Special thanks to the person who performed my procedure. I really couldn’t have been in better hands. He really was the complete professional and a lovely fella.

The whole experience was truly awe inspiring. As a massive supporter and advocate of the NHS I’m delighted to report that at its best it really is the best in the world.

My heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of the Rutherford Morrison Ward. Each and every one of you deserves a medal.
