"Kind and compassionate staff for breast cancer surgery"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Breast Clinic

(as the patient),

The receptionist I met was very abrasive, not expected when you are new to all this and a bit scared. But all other staff were amazing, caring, compassionate and so informative.

An excellent set up and the experience was made so much easier by the kindness showed by nursing staff, anaesthetists and  consultant.

Thank you all so much.

Dear Llou,

Thank you for sharing your experience on Care Opinion of University Hospital Wishaw, Breast Clinic.

What a frightening time for you getting breast cancer surgery, I am sorry that the receptionist's attitude did not match that of the other staff who looked after you. We expect kindness and compassion from our staff towards our patients, and I am glad that you got that from the majority.

I will be sure to pass on your feedback to the whole team who I am sure will be delighted to hear that your experience was overall a positive one.

I hope you are recovering well.

Kind Regards,

Jenni
