About: New Victoria Hospital / Minor injuries unit

(as the patient),

Thank you to the wonderful team at the Vic MIU who tended to my hand. I  had a skelf 10 days ago which couldn’t originally be seen. The swelling was worse, was seen by ENP Alex who managed to get the skelf out, relieving the pressure and treated accordingly. He put me at great ease and built rapport quickly and managed to get the skelf out without causing any pain. A credit to himself and his service!

I was pleased to hear the care and treatment you received from our staff was to a high standard and you felt well cared for.

It was great to hear how the staff took the time to make you feel comfortable and welcomed into the department. This must have been a massive relief.

I’m glad Alex was able to remove the troublesome skelf that was causing you so much discomfort- he will be delighted that you felt at ease with him, he works extremely hard to always deliver such a high standard of care to his patients & is such an asset to our team.
