(as the patient),

I attended hospital recently for echo and bubble test, which were all very efficient on the day.

Unfortunately, this was after a very long wait for the appointment (despite consultant's advice of within a couple of weeks, and a further cancellation due to error in tests to be carried out).

Thank you for sharing your experience on Care Opinion of University Hospital Hairmyres, Cardiology.

I am glad to hear that on the day of your tests everything went well and they were very efficiently done. I am sorry however to hear about the long wait you had for the echo and bubble tests. I can understand that this would be worrying and frustrating for you, particularly because of the advice given by the consultant and the error in tests that you advise of.

I will feed this back to the department for reflection and learning going forward so that this isn't repeated for another patient in future.
