"Receiving Long COVID Support"

About: NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde / Long Covid Service

(as a service user),

After getting COVID in September 2022, I still didn't feel like my previous self 9 months afterwards. Approaching my GP service about the sustained tiredness and fatigue I was continuing to experience, I was referred to the Greater Glasgow Long COVID Service and received an 8 week course to help understand the condition and to learn ways to cope and live with it.

The service provided lots of information to cover many of the different ways that different people experience long COVID and gave helpful strategies for coping with the condition. As a result I am able to manage my tiredness and fatigue better and I'm able to continue working.
