I had an episode of testicular torsion and went to the hospital, explained the accident I had and they failed to identify the torsion and sent me home with cocodamol and antibiotics even if I begged her in tears to reconsider. I still shiver thinking of the absolute fear to move due to the intense pain I had to endure, the doctor insisted there was nothing else to do but after a week I flew to Italy and not only they spotted the torsion with a simple examination, they rotated it back in the proper position within less than 2 hours from the landing, and a few days later I had surgery.
As today 95% of my right testicle is no longer producing sperm and I am dealing with the physical and mental consequences of that, which could have been avoided, I presented the medical records from my treatments in Italy and they still refused to even acknowledge what they did caused me severe injuries. All I can say is: the people I came in contact with were extremely unprofessional, I felt like I was only a check on a list to be applied as quickly as possible and that is the kind of professionals I need to rely on for my health and life.
