About: Adult Mental Health Services - Community (County) / Broxtowe & Hucknall Local Mental Health Team (LMHT) Sherwood Oaks / Beech Ward

(as a relative),

My daughter had been mentally ill for over 3 years, but refused to accept she was ill. It was hard for the community mental health team to support her because of her reluctance to engage. The outcome was that she was sectioned and was taken to Sherwood Oaks Hospital. She eventually accepted treatment and has now been discharged with support from the community mental health team.

Throughout the process I received updates from the community mental health worker. It was relief and very reassuring to receive these updates and it is so good to see me daughters health improve.
