Anything else?
Taken into A&E via ambulance at 3:00 in the morning and was given the usual treatment ie blood pressure, ecetera, ecetera and then kept waiting for 5 hours in a cubicle till the morning doctors came on their rounds,at 7:55 I had enough of the waiting around and signed myself out as,just as I was about to sign the form one of staff informed me that I am next to be seen by a doctor, its a pity that was a lie because I was told exactly the same thing 1and a half hours before. Over the past 7 years I have had many frequent visits to A&E for some type of ailment or medical condition(COPD) most of these visits have been generally early hours of the morning and I have never ever yet been seen to by a doctor within those early hours and the doctor has always been just after seven in the morning and never before. Its aboput time this hospital put a doctor on A&E throughout the night and have patients time not wasted in cubicles waiting around for several hours? its pathetic response and every time without fail they say we have been very busy. Why is it that the two times I have been in triage in Fazakerley in the wee small hours I have been seen to by a doctor within 2 to 3 hours, and yes triage was extremely packed. RLUH is the worst hospital on merseyside considering its the flagship.
