"Comforting to know she was well looked after in her last days"

About: Royal Victoria Hospital / Trauma & Orthopaedics

(as a relative),

Mum was cared for in ward 4b royal Victoria Hospital Belfast she had fallen at home and fractured her hip and was admitted to 4b.

I want to compliment the staff that looked after her from domestic staff nurses and healthcare assistants and doctors - everyone was very attentive. Dr Katie was excellent at keeping us informed of mums condition.

Unfortunately mum passed away suddenly before going through any surgery so it’s very comforting to know she was well looked after in her last days. Also I have received calls from the bereavement team which was really appreciated.
