"Everything was handled really well - fantastic surgical team"

My son was admitted to Hedgehog Ward recently with severe abdominal pain. He has been brilliantly cared for by attentive, professional and kindly staff.  

Our private room and bathroom was very much appreciated as was the bed for me to stay on.  The play specialists were able to provide resources to keep son entertained which really helped to pass the time.

He needed surgery in the end and everything was handled really well by the fantastic surgical team. He was swiftly discharged the following day to recover at home.

Special thanks to Becky and Ron who made a special impression on my son and are a credit to their profession.
