"Change of care in the surgery,"

About: The Surgery (Cranwich Road)

(as a parent/guardian),

Thank you for seeing my child In the surgery this week,

The team worker was friendly and patient however I am frustrated and disappointed At the service at the surgery and puzzled as to why it is so difficult to see and actually have a face to face discussion with a real Doctor and to benefit from their knowledge and expertise,

In the same time I wonder why the surgery is hosting so many activities, groups, sessions and classes instead.

Is my surgery becoming a community centre?!

I feel this is a money making thing.

Dear Patient,

Thank you for your feedback. Due to high demand to speak to doctors our appointments are appropriately triaged with our experienced and qualified clinicians.

If a clinician require GP's expertise the patient is seen by the GP.

The additional service you mentioned are not provided or funded by the practice but for our practices' patients by the City and Hackney Volunteer Group. This means we do not generate any income by hosting additional support for our patients who are benefiting from these services.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you have further concern.

Kind Regards

Geetha Rajah

Practice Manager
