"Concerns about herpes in pregnancy"

About: Sexual Health Services - South Staffordshire (Open Clinic)

(as a service user),

I was very anxious and distressed before coming, I have never had to attend a sexual health clinic before so I did feel shame and upset about this. Having a booked appointment helped knowing i wouldnt be sat in a waiting room for long and there were no others there. The doctor I saw (unsure of his name, slim male possibly 40's) was so kind and reassuring. I was very upset as I am pregnant too, so I was very worried about the risk if i tested positive. Id like you to pass on how much he reassured me and took the time to listen to me - I really appreciate it and would ask to see this doctor again, such a kind man.

Hi Cygnusne98,

My name is Andrew and I am a Senior Administrator for the Open Clinic and part of my role is to respond to Care Opinion feedback. I would firstly like to thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback which does mean a lot to our team and is an important contribution to learning and service improvement.

The Doctor you saw was Dr Gardi and he will be pleased that you found him reassuring and if you need another appointment just ask to see him. 😊

Kind regards,

Andrew Garratt, Senior Administrator
