"Lack of patient toilets"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

Firstly the staff at Day Surgery Recovery are professional, caring and friendly giving a patient the security that is badly needed.

The problem that is glaringly obvious, is the lack of patient toilets, in fact non existent. The lack of this amenity, which I can assure you is distressing to the patient, is also a productive loss of wasted time of the nursing staff, who have and could use their time better fulfilling their professional skills.

Thank you for providing feedback on your recent visit to DSU. As we are not in our purpose built unit following covid we are having to make the most of the unit we are using. The toilet facilities are not ideal but we are trying our best to improve them so value the feedback. I will ensure to pass this onto the management team as a concern. Hope you are recovering well - take care
