After a recent self referral to the addiction centre to help tackle and address my partner’s addiction in relation to alcohol and prescribed medication, I attended the addiction support meetings with my partner.
After initially being happy to embrace the support being offered by the Addiction Services and after a number of appointments , we have been left feeling frustrated , anxious and ultimately feeling hopeless in my partner’s attempts to seek help and support from the service due to the behaviour from a member of staff.
