I was dreading another round of urogynecology appointments, but Kelsey and Hayley put me at ease and helped me choose the right catheter and how to locate the insertion point exactly with 'landmarks' I hadn't expected to be able to see. Even with my hand tremor I got it right the first try with no problem. They were friendly and good-humoured throughout, and I did not feel my usual combination of disgust and uncleanliness.
The only thing that could have been better would have been a shorter wait for the Botox injections to the bladder. The existence of a permanent solution to the problem would be the best, but that's an unrealistic pipe dream.
