About: Adult Mental Health Services - Community (City) / City North Local Mental Health Team (LMHT)

(as a service user),

I was under the care of a team in north Nottingham, after I left my job due to stress. When I started to feel better I decided I could go back to work and clinicians did an internal referral to Balvinder, for support around employment, in which he is a specialist. 

Bal has lent his expertise and reviewed my CV and cover letters in a supportive manner. He is skilled in giving feedback in a friendly and realistic way. I had previously been employed for some time so needed guidance on how find jobs effectively and how to analyse the criteria they are looking for. 

Considering how stressed I had been Bal tailored the approach to work with me at my pace and regularly checked in with me if I was happy with the amount of information and guidance.

Overall very happy with the care I receive from this team and the range of support they offer is great, including the career support that I have experience with. The clinical staff are professional and experienced, seem to know their job well and care.
