I spent 7 nights in ward 53 and I could not have received better care. Hazel was my nurse for 5 of those days and Karla 4 of those nights, I also had Taylor and Megan too. Each one was professional and caring. Every member of staff I encountered was chatty, friendly and nothing was too much to ask.
I seen Toni (Physio) a few times and she was always very cheery and reassuring, she ensured that I felt safe and comfortable with mobilising before I was discharged. I also seen a consultant each day.
Even though I was in a bay, the ward was very quiet at night allowing. I have nothing but praise for ward 53 and the staff who work there.
