"My Recent Experience in Crosshouse Hospital"

I was admitted to Crosshouse Hospital on Monday morning, for a planned gynaecological surgery. From the moment I walked in the door at 7.30am, I felt cared for. Every member of staff was kind, caring, supportive and helpful - in each department from admission, through to the anaesthetic room, the recovery room and the gynaecology ward.

Nothing was too much trouble and each member of the team, from Dr Agur's team to the nursing team went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable with each procedure and fully informed. I honestly can't praise the entire team enough. I think it's so important to highlight a fantastic team, especially when all I seem to hear from the news, is how badly the NHS is performing.
