We were very grateful for the care we received from Borders maternity care team. I went into labour on a Sunday night and they advised me to come in due to a previous history of a premature birth.
The care I received from the telephone call right up to being discharged after the birth of my daughter was excellent and all staff went above and beyond. I would like to express my gratitude to Bev and Christina who were by my side during my delivery. They were very calm and reassuring throughout.
I would also like to thank everyone in ward 16 who were exceptional in their after care of my daughter and myself. They were also very considerate to my husband. I would also like to mention Katie (student midwife) all the best for her future as she was absolutely amazing on our last day in the hospital and she will make a great addition to the midwifery team. She was very thorough and so easy to talk to.
Overall we have had a wholesome experience with the maternity care at the BGH. Thank you all.
