"I was treated with kindness and respect"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

From the moment I entered Grantham day Surgical Unit I was treated with kindness and respect.

The nurses were fantastic caring people explaining everything thoroughly.  The care staff in the operating theatre were wonderful as were the anaesthetic team who explained exactly what was a about to happen.

After care was perfect and lunch was very good.

Thank you for these comments and I will share with the staff who will be very pleased that you took the time to send these comments in

I will also share with theatres and the housekeeping team and as matron for the unit, I am always so happy to read that the nurses were kind and caring as that is the care we strive to give and your comments are testament to us getting it right
