Had a heart attack when I was 58 years old, I am 85 now. Then in 2018 I had another heart attack and I was told I need a bypass so had bypass in Sept 2018, but never felt well all 2019. Kept going back to Kingsmill telling them it was my heart I was told no it's not your heart you have had that fixed, I was losing weight because I could not eat so I was sent for a camera down my throat and up my backside, they sent to be more interested in my weight than my heart, then had another big heart attack in Feb 2020 and was told my first bypass had failed so I had triple bypass in Feb 2020 went to doctors in March 2023 with chest pains and was told it was muscular, wear a decent bra. Had another heart attack end of March 2023 and was examined and told my heart was damaged be careful what I was doing so I thought they sent me home to die.
Then I had a phone call would I go and see a cardiac nurse, that is the first time I had such appointment in all this time so I went to see Helen. It's the best thing I have done, with he help and advice I not only feel better but I can do more for myself she is a god send.
She had tweaked my meds took my weight everyday and blood pressure.
Doctors or hospitals never been able to get my blood pressure under control and never seemed to care. Seen the cardiac nurse 2 month ago she has got my blood pressure under control and consistent and feel the best I have felt for 5 years and they care how I feel. my only regret is this is the first time I've seen her. Wish I seen her at least 4 years ago. They are amazing.
