Room 7 of Ward 5A at Raigmore Hospital has been too cold, for a month or more. Estates have been informed, yet no one from Estates has come into the room. When patients ask for extra blankets, they are often told there are none available. A blue thin blanket is not enough to keep warm so, in the meantime, thicker warmer blankets are needed, please.
Most of the patients on this ward not very mobile and therefore need a warm room, not a freezing cold room. The exterior temperature at night has recently fallen below zero at times. Where is the duty of care to keep these patients warm and comfortable? Please sort this now!
"Nothing done to increase the temperature"
