About: Adult Mental Health Services - Community (County) / IPS Future's Positive

(as a service user),

After working with Racheal for quiet a while, I wanted to get out the job I was in and wanted to find something that I wanted to do. I was then referred to Jordan for Employment Support. As Rachael knows I get uncomfortable when someone news comes into my home she suggested a joint appointment initially which went well.

I then started actively working with Jordan, we worked on updating my CV and looking at other employment opportunities. Jordan has been very supportive and before I got pregnant we were looking at upskilling my current skills within hair and beauty with the potential of setting my own business up, however, I found out I was pregnant and made the decision that now was not the right time.

I am now being discharged from the service but value the input and support I have received and when the time is right I would like to be re-referred if possible.

I manage a team of employment specialists which is attached to Mansfield, Ashfield and Newark& Sherwood LMHT. the service supports the service users to seek suitable job opportunities by offering intense support that is responsive to individuals' strenghts, skills abilities and percieved barriers and follows this with time unlimited on job support to help sustian employment. provides employment support, careers advise and guidance to the service users who are under the care of AMH.
