Exellent nursing. In particular, one created a jolly atmosphere and Staff Nurse is very professional. I would that she had provided me with laxative prior to discharge or allowed me to stay a day longer. I notice, on line, that in America "stool softening" is part of the rehabilitation procedure. (Problem solved last night after calling at GP for new dressing and laxative yesterday - day 7). I saw the anaethetist twice post op; would like to have spoken to the consultant with questions which the anaethetist couldn't answer and to thank him for a painless experience - until now ( a week on) that is! Good menu and catering service; plentiful supply of water and hot drinks. Impressed by co-ordination of pre and post op services. No body should grumble if these atandards are maintained. (Note: phoned comment but found that inadequate compared with this survey). Geoff.
