On Saturday morning I was taken to King George A&E by excellent ambulance persons (Lady and Gent), with a heart issue. The ambulance persons treated me on the spot, were very helpful, and kept my family and me informed of what was happening. At the hospital the A&E people, who were more worried about me than I was (except my family), treated me. The service was quick and efficient. I spent a day in the MAU ward; once again, the doctors and nurses were excellent. I was transferred to Gardenia ward in the evening and kept for another four days. The service received by the doctors, nurses and all the staff was excellent. As a diabetic, while in hospital, I had a number of Hypoglycaemia episodes, especially in the night and the way I was treated by the nurses was excellent. Also, the diabetic nurse whose help and advice was excellent that I wanted to change my GP provided Diabetic service to the hospital. Also, I must mention the people at the London Chest hospital in Bethnal Green, who were excellent as I spent one day for various tests. Overall, I have nothing but praise for all the people who treated me from the time the ambulance arrived to the day I was discharged. This includes the people from the Ambulance service, A&E, MAU and Gardenia ward, London Chest Hospital and now the rehabilitation. Also, the aftercare treatment is going well.
