I have had a bad knee for some years and finally had the knee replacement done at Stracathero hospital in mid October 2023. I was naturally nervous about the op but as soon as I arrived on the Monday morning at the reception , I felt that I was safe and in the best of hands. What a brilliant team work there from the receptionist to nurses, Physio’s, anaesthetists, surgeons etc etc. They kept me well informed of what was happening and had even found another surgeon to perform my op when the original one had suddenly to go off sick.
The aftercare from the nurses was exemplary - nothing was too much for them and they made me feel very special and they looked after me with such patience, humour and care.
Stracathero is quiet, peaceful easy to park and so much more user friendly that the bigger hospitals and I would recommend it to everybody- many thanks to everybody there.
